Advanced Skirmish

This is an advanced version of the normal Skirmish mode. Additional secondary objectives are added for the two players from time to time. Completing them is rewarded with supplies or a temporary revealed map.


Furthermore, both players can call in a convoy if they are low on supplies. After a few minutes the convoy will arrive and deliver them. However, it first has to traverse the map, and the enemy is also informed about the convoy. If he manages to destroy a truck, he recieves supplies.

Maps

Advanced Skirmish maps are only available for two players.

Countryside

Countryside is a temperate-themed map. One player starts at the bottom of the map, his convoy appears at the left edge. His opponent starts at the top and the convoy appears at the right edge.

There are 2 villages, each holding a flag and fuel depot. Additional resources can be found near settlings like farm houses or a railway station.

Objectives

The first objective makes one player protect the radar station in the upper left corner of the map. The other one has to destroy it. The time limit for this objective is 10 minutes. The player who completes his objective recieves additional supplies.

Another objective creates a shot down pilot somewhere in the map. Both players try to find and recover him. One player recieves supplies on completion, for the other one the map is revealed for some time.

The third objective is the same for both players: Capture the both towns (i.e. their flags) and hold them for 10 minutes. If the other player recaptures a town, the timer is reset.

Lakeview

The main feature of the Lakeview map is a big lake in the center of the snow-themed map. One player starts in the upper left corner, the other one in the lower right corner. Two villages are located in the other two corners, one directly at the lake, the other one up in the hills. The convoys appear at the left and right edge of the map. Image:sticker_q.png

Schwarzwald

This map offers lots of open space for epic battles. Some small villages are scattered in the landscape. One player starts in the upper left corner, the other one in the lower right corner. The convoys appear at the bottom left and top right corner of the map.

The first objective creates two heavy bombers that traverse the map. One player has to destroy them, the other one should protect them. For each downed/saved plane, the attacker/defender recieves additional supplies.
