Description

• Available at start after building a Tank Supplystation.
• Can only engage vehicles.
• Vulnerable to machinegun fire.
• Has a long range but a low view sight.
• Its rate of fire is quite fast, but its AT-5 missiles are not as powerful as the TOW missiles launched from the Humvee TOW

Usage

• The AT-5 Spandrel can cause massive damage to tanks, even ones from later tiers.
• They can't engage infantry, so don't put them against them.
• Due to its low view sight and weakness, use it at the back of your armoured battalion.
• Use along with its variant the BRDM-2 14.5mm MG to protect it against infantry attacks.

Against Infantry

Cannot do any damage to them whatsoever.

Against Tanks

Destroys tanks easily, but requires time.

Against Buildings

Cannot engage structures.

How to defend against

• Anti-Tank missiles can take it out with one or two hits.
• Anti-Tank Soldier is good for the job as the BRDM-2 can't fire at them.
• It's suicide to use tanks against them unless they are oblivious to them.
• Base defenses and garrisoned structures are a good defense against BRDM-2s.
