The E-3 Sentry plays the role of AWACS to support existing fighters at shooting down enemy aircraft.
Description
A flying command center in a way, this modified plane is equipped with various equipment that will help all nearby aircraft in detecting and targeting enemy aircraft. It also has a built-in Radar system in case you happen to have lost yours.
Ability to call it in can be obtained at Rank 3 for cost of 1 GP.
Tips
- Reveals enemy aircraft over a large area.
- Circles the area where it is called at.
- Can be controlled and ordered to change the area it is designated to.
- Can restore radar communications.
Usage
- Use it to spot enemy aircraft for your fighters to shoot down.
- Call it in at approximately the center of the map to make sure that it detects all aircraft in the map.
- Defend it if you have to.
How to defend against
- Can be easily taken down by any Anti-Air system.
- The most forward way to destroy it is the use of fighter jets. Although it detects every enemy aircraft on map, E3 is unarmed and highly vulnerable.
