Description
- Available for the USA side at Rank 3 from an upgrade that gives the F-4G Wild Weasel along.
- Armed with an ECM that disables enemy Radar-based Anti-Air vehicles / structures soon as they gets in his guarding range.
- Can also deviate Anti-Air missiles coming at it or near it.
- Can be taken down by enemy fighters.
- Unable to engage any sort of targets.
Effectiveness against SAMs
Will divert the first one or two missiles, but the next ones will probably pass through, this does not apply to lead-based systems.
Effectiveness against interceptor missiles
Rather effective in most cases, will definitely tick the scales to your side if you deploy them in a dogfight.
Usage
- Use in conjunction with the F-4G Wild Weasel obliterate the enemy's Anti-Air capabilities.
- Bring one along in dogfights, as it can deviate missiles coming to your fighters.
- Can also deviate shoulder-launched Anti-Air missiles at good rate.
- It is advisable to order a F-15C Eagle to guard it from air attacks.
How to defend against
- The EF-111 is a sitting duck against interceptors, so always deploy your interceptors in areas where you expect the EF-111 to strike in.
- It's actually hard to take it out with radar-based AA systems, but possible. Infra-red AA systems are not affected by it though.
- Using multiple AA systems is advised to increase the chance of hitting the Raven.
