Description
- Air Superiority Fighter available for the USA side at Rank 3.
- Can take out any air target it faces.
- Can be taken down by Fighters, SAMs, but not Anti-Air soldiers.
- Equipped with countermeasures that deploy when a missile is fired at it.
- Unable to engage ground targets.
Usage
- Use with the EF-111 Raven improve its survivability even more.
- Always scramble your F-15s from the airfield, it's a costly unit and a simple call-in strike that can destroy it and the airfield with it.
- It can fire long range missiles and short range missiles, make sure not to waste your long range ones on helicopters.
- E-3 Sentry can spot enemy aircraft for it which makes the job a lot easier for the F-15.
- Never deploy in an area where enemy SAMs are deployed. Even his superior countermeasures, it's likely to get shoot down.
Against Aircraft
The king of the skies, this unit alone can take on any aircraft in the entire Russian Airforce. Notable exception being the SU-27.
How to defend against
- MiG-29s can't do much against F-15s, and it would be accurate to call it a suicide mission to send one in a 1vs1 dogfight.
- Su-27s has better chances at taking down an F-15, but the fact that the F-15's countermeasures are vastly superior to those of the Su-27 means that you're still taking a risk taking it head-on.
- Mobile and stationary SAMs are the best defense against the F-15.
- If you are desperate you can use your AH-6 Little Bird to shoot at it, don't expect much though.
