Description
- Infantry available at Rank 2 after purchasing Special Infantry at rank 1 that gives the heavy sniper along with the Green Beret.
- Trained from any Barracks.
- Already have Lv.1 veterancy.
- Stealthed when not firing.
- Armed with M4s that reveal their position when firing.
- Can place C4 charge on building/ vehicles without revealing themselves.
Usage
- Never come close to your target, visible Green Beret is no more than normal rifleman.
- Green Beret can use his C4 charge against vehicles, which is extremely effective for taking out strongest units. Explosion of C4/ Satchel can destroy another units, close standing to mined one.
- Sneaking up from the back means staying alive longer.
- Try to keep your invisibility as long you can, fire only when you have no other way.
Against Infantry
Effective in infantry combat but he is not designed for this task. Can use his satchel charge in ambush causing devastating damage to infantry squads. Use in prone position to maximize accuracy and range.
Against Tanks
Can engage only jeeps/trucks but with minimum effect. Can use his C4 charge against vehicles, which is extremely effective for taking out even the strongest units. Explosion of C4/ Satchel can destroy other units if they are standing close to the mined one.
Against Aircrafts
Cannot attack any aircraft nor helicopters, except hovering/landed ones.
Against Buildings
C4 explosives works very well.
How to defend against
- Spotting them first is most important task.
- Small infantry groups will do their job with Green Berets.
- Place at least one officer or a sniper in your bunkers and emplacements to spot them, the rest is easy work.
- AH-6 Little Birds can spot and engage them with minimum effort, so assign one to patrol the area.
- A BRDM-2 14.5mm MG and Humvee M2 can do the same job but are more vulnerable to their attacks.
- Clear them if they're in a building with a rifleman's/ officer's grenades, a sniper, a RPO Soldier or by using a Humvee Mk19, BRDM2 or Artillery.
- Helicopters and Low-flying planes work well against them.
