1. Trained from any Barracks.
2. Stealthed when proned and not firing (except for spetsnazes, heavy snipers and green berets who are stealthed when not firing).

List of infantry units

Common to both sides

• Rifleman
• Machinegunner
• Officer
• Combat Medic
• Combat Engineer
• Sniper
• Anti-Tank Soldier
• Anti-Air Soldier

USA

Those require a general point.

• Green Beret
• Heavy Sniper

USSR

Those require a general point.

• RPO Soldier
• Spetsnaz

Usage

Use a few different classes together because a single infantry unit can't be very effective.

How to defend against

• Machinegunners can cause a lot of damage to these units, so place one where you expect their presence.
• Any vehicle armed with a machinegun can take infantry units out easily (if not killed by it if it is an anti-tank soldier).
• Defensive structures can cause devastating results to infantry.
