Description
- Available at start after building a tank supplystation.
- Can engage infantry and lightly armored vehicles.
- Most effective against infantry.
- Able to upgrade with a mortar that can deal heavy damage to most ground targets light damage to buildings..
- Can carry up to 7 infantry.
Usage
- The M113 can cause massive damage against infantry with its .50 cal machinegun, so it is very good at ground infantry support unit.
- It can transport 7 infantry units fast and reliably. Even through water.
- They are helpless against tanks, so don't put them against them.
- Embark engineers, medics and officers inside it to increase stealth detection, convert the M113 into a mobile triage center and repair surrounding vehicles.
Against Infantry
Can wreak havok on infantry units, as it is moderately armoured and is immune to average infantry munition. Mortars also deal heavy damage to infantry units surrounding the designated area.
Against Tanks
Can do light damage against tanks using its mortar, but that is not a recommended use of the mortar.
Against Buildings
Deals certain amount of damage to structures with its mortars, again this is not the recommended use of the mortar.
How to defend against
- Anti-Tank missile can take it out with one hit.
- Anti-Tank Soldier is good for the job, but is an easy target for the M113.
- Tanks are ideal for destroying M113s.
- Base defenses and garrisoned structures are a good defense against M113s.
