Description
- Available at Rank 5 from the Tank Supplystation with consumption of 2 General Points.
- Each rockets contain 644 cluster munitions, which is called the "steel rain".
- Can attack infantry, vehicles and structures if they are within it's range.
- Missiles launched can deal heavy damage to all targets.
- Deadly accurate and have pretty fast firing rate.
- Has an extreme range but a very low view sight.
- Reveals itself through shroud to all enemies when firing.
Usage
- It can destroy almost all armoured units with less than two hits, so use it to support your units against tanks.
- Use in conjunction with the M109 Paladin to cause great damage to structures.
- They are very weak, so keep them protected from all types of attacks and especially air attacks.
- Never use them in the frontline.
- Effective against all targets, so don't hesitate to use them when support is needed.
Against Infantry
Kills any infantry unit with a direct hit. Thanks to the cluster munitions it is very effective at taking out infantry groups.
Against Tanks
Destroys almost all MBTs in less than 2 direct hits, if they are not destroyed they will be critically damaged.
Against Buildings
Also very powerful at structural bombardment.
How to defend against
- Anti-Tank missile can kill M270 in single hit.
- Anti-Tank Soldier can take it out with three hits.
- Anti-Tank vehicles like the Humvee TOW and BRDM-2 AT-5 Spandrel can make short work of it.
- It can't attack you if you come within a short distance of it, so be sure to exploit that for your advantage.
- Base defenses and garrisoned structures are a bad defense against M270s, as it will destroy them from far away.
