The CWC Map Development Kit (MDK) is a set of files that are needed to make Zero Hour maps playable in CWC as well as the documentation necessary to use them. User-created maps can be uploaded as addons at the CWC ModDB profile.

Content

The MDK contains the following documents:

• .ini files: snippets which can be copied to a map.ini file.
• .scb files: scripts that can be imported in a map.
• .str files: strings to be displayed in a map.
• 4 tutorial videos with a total length of about 50 minutes which explain what you need to do to convert the maps.
• A document summarizing the facts explained in the tutorials.

Note: You will need the original MDK as well as ALL patches to create maps for CWC.

The first patch for the MDK came with patch 496 and can be downloaded here.

Version 1.2 of the MDK was introduced with the 491 patch. You can download it here.
