Description
- Infantry available at Rank 1 by purchasing Special Infantry that gives spetsnazes along with them.
- Trained from any Barracks.
- Armed by default with an AK-74, switch to the Secondary weapon to arm the RPO rockets.
- Cloaked when prone and not firing.
- Armed with RPO launcher, extremely effective against infantry.
- Able to deal with most infantry and light vehicles.
Usage
- Their missile range is medium, however they can move to their target stealthily using the prone position.
- They should be only be used in the back of a squad, as they are very valuable units.
- Able to do deal devastating damage to light vehicles.
- Can engage infantry with their RPO rockets, the attack has an area of effect, meaning you can eliminate more than one target at once if they are close enough to each other.
- They can kill the crew of light vehicles making them prone to capture.
- Can clear buildings very effectively with their RPO warheads.
Against Infantry
Extremely effective against infantry with their RPO rockets. Can hit clustered enemy, kill enemy infantry at one hit if you are lucky and effectively clear garrisoned units.
Against Vehicles
Extremely effective against all light vehicles and APCs. Can kill light vehicle crew by using a RPO ability.
Against Aircraft
Cannot attack any aircraft nor helicopters, except landed ones.
Against Buildings
Decent damage against buildings.
How to defend against
- Fight fire with fire. In other words, use RPO Soldiers to counter RPO Soldiers.
- Other infantry usually lose a battle against them, if you have to use large groups but not clustered to close!
- Clear them if they're in a building with garrison-clearing units, the artillery units being the safest way to do so here.
- Defensive structures can cause devastating results to infantry.
