A powerful Anti-Air vehicle capable of engaging all types of aircraft with ease and efficiency. Fills the role of long-range Anti-Air.
Description
- Available as a general upgrade at Rank 3 from the Tank Supplystation.
- Uses missiles unlike the ZSU-23-4 Shilka.
- Can shoot at all types of aircraft and destroys aircraft with one or 2 missiles.
- Cannot engage any type of ground targets.
- Has a long range but a low view sight.
- Needs to be deployed to fire.
- Has a 10 second delay during deploying and undeploying.
Usage
- You should always bring one along in your assaults to defend yourself against helicopters and jets.
- It can take down helicopters easily if you spot them early.
- They are helpless against tanks, so don't put them against them.
- Use the URAL Radar to utilize its long range by revealing incoming enemy aircraft early.
Against Aircraft
Can shoot all helicopters down with one missile. Jets are a different story as they can dodge the missiles or deviate them sometimes, but most of them get shot down with one missile that hits.
How to defend against
- Anti-Tank missiles can take it out with one or two hits.
- Anti-Tank Soldier is good for the job, as it can't engage infantry.
- Tanks are ideal for destroying SA-11s.
- Helicopters armed with long range missiles can take them, but it is dangerous to use them.
- The F-4G Wild Weasel can destroy it very easily.
- The EF-111 Raven can disable it.
- Base defenses and garrisoned structures are a good defense against SA-11s.
