The Supply System

Instead of the player receiving cash, the "currency" of the game is "supply units" which allow the training of new units. Supplies can be gathered in various ways:

Dropzone

Each side get their own version of a dropzone, the USA has a separate building, the USSR on the other hand have an upgrade available at their Command Center. The dropzone generates 2000 supply units every 2 minutes.

Flags

Capturing flags is the most important way of acquiring supplies. Most flags are placed in locations such as villages or secluded towns. Capturing the a flag for the first time will instantly grant you 1000 supplies, and then the flag will start to continiously generate supplies for you as long as you hold it. Only Riflemen and Officers are capable of capturing flags.

Ordering a convoy

In Advanced Skirmish maps each player has the option to order a convoy from his dropzone. The convoy needs a few minutes to arrive at your base. When it arrives at the base, the player gets additional supplies. However, the enemy is also informed about the convoy which means they can also ambush it, which leads to loss of supplies. And beware, the enemy receives supplies for destroying your convoy!

Destroying an enemy convoy

Destroying each vehicle from an enemy convoy will grant some supplies to the attacker, destroying all vehicles in the convoy will deny the enemy any benefits from the convoy and instead benefit you.

Secondary objectives

This is also a feature of Advanced Skirmish maps. It allows the player to get additional supplies by accomplishing certain tasks, such as holding a village for ten minutes or capturing a downed pilot. The objectives are selected randomly and they are conflicting for players, for example one player capturing or rescuing the pilot will result in a failure of that very mission for the other player, just as a player holding a town for 10 minutes is a failure for the other player who did not manage to capture it.
