This is the source of Radar communications provided for the USSR. Contrary to the Radarstation, the URAL Radar truck is not stationary but mobile.
Description
- Available at start from the Command Center after building a Fuel Depot.
- Unarmed.
- Can be damaged by machinegun fire.
- Can be upgraded to resist jamming by the EF-111 Raven
- Provides Radar communications for the USSR.
- Detects nearby enemy aircraft within a long distance.
Usage
- The only advantage the URAL Radar truck has over the Radarstation is its mobility, make use of that to hide it in hard locations.
- Redundancy can save you, so build two if you can spare the money.
- It can detect enemy aircraft within a long distance, so use it to support your fighter jets and Anti-Air systems.
Available Upgrades
Jamming Immunity - 200 Supply Units
This upgrade will make the URAL Radar vehicle immune to all forms of jamming produced by the EF-111 Raven.
Tips
- The URAL Radar truck cannot provide Radar communications in a tank bunker due of the weak signal it receives when inside it.
- Hide it at the edges of the map to deny the enemy from destroying it.
- Upgrade it with the jamming resistance upgrade only if you predict that you'll be up against EF-111s.
